I'm really glad now that I learned WordPress. I took the GeekPack (Julia Taylor) course and it taught me about child themes that are necessary to customize properly, I took extra HTML and CSS courses to get it right. I don't feel like I know enough to charge someone else to make their site, but I'm confident in my own. Tim, you could learn WordPress fairly quickly, at least the basics, and save $$$$$$
