So I did!

Now there’s an easy way to pick a title. Plus we were given writing prompts to pick from so I went with these two because they seem to go together:

• Do you want to earn part-time fun money, or do you need more than that?
• Is this going to be a part-time hobby thing or a full-time jobby thing?

I’m hoping that this is a way to earn extra income. I’ve always been an avid reader, so this shouldn’t be too hard, especially in short bursts of just a couple of hundred words here and there. I think I’m better at editing than writing though.

As someone getting close to retirement age, just coming out of a sort-of retirement, getting regular work is impossible. “There’s a huge gap” they say, like if you work at home looking after the farm, it’s not a good enough answer.

As we get older and realize there’s no money left, because of health and pandemic issues, we need to get online and make money doing whatever we know how to do. I hate to think about how many people are out of money and lost their business due to covid.

Forget working out there with the public. I used to work in manufacturing, woodwork, and other physical labour jobs. I really enjoyed the exercise. I’ve worked in office…
